Congruity is Creepy

These things happen a lot lately.

We have a lot of books in my house.  There's random culty type things with untraceable origins. When I was nine, I found a book about a transexual named Pat. So I wasn't too surprised to find the Book of Bob, of Subgenius in the bathroom one day.  I read it a bit, baffled but intrigued.  The smart thing would have been to run to my room and google and wiki it to bits, but I wasn't that smart back then.

I GISed the keyword "witty" today, to procrastinate packing, and I stumbled across the Church of Subgenius.

[Is that why so many people on my friends list say 'OMB' instead of the 'OMG' or are they just refraining from being sacreligious like the rest of us? Then again, dear Bob is sacrelicious in the EXTREME, man. liek whoa!!!11!!!]

This made my day; but somehow also makes me feel rather ignorant.  I didn't even get the "All Your Base" references until 8 months or so ago...

I guess I'm allowed though.  I'm still just an ickle little girl, despite what I let myself believe.

Well, when I say omg I mean oh my gosh, and I usually don't say oh my God. That site is just..scary.

lol. Well, I'm not particularly frightened, just a little baffled. Actually, it's pretty funny if when you don't find it offensive.

And I wasn't referring to you dear, about the OMG; you're one of the more innocent types on my flist. *g*

Hey, this is [info]eryncalen on a new livejournal because I had a problem with my password on my other one and I can't get logged back in. So, I made this one. Just keep the other one on your friends list for now as well, in case I can get it back since it only happend a few days ago. Thanks ♥

I should mention that a few weeks after this post, I was staying with my godmother and her partner and he had a Bob mug. Fwoah?
